Youth Horsemanship Camp

The Youth Horsemanship Camp provides intermediate to advanced youth riders with plenty of opportunity to develop their horsemanship and communication skills. Participants will not only build a stronger relationship with their horse, they will also experience working together as a team with fellow program participants.

Program activities include ground school, arena exercises, obstacles, round pen work & applying
principle to purpose on the trail. Participants also have time to relax, read, explore and even go
swimming. The Camp finale includes horsemanship games and a fun competition where participants get to show off what they’ve learned.

This is a great opportunity to dedicate a week to working on any problems or goals you may have with your horse. Meals and accommodations in the Bunk House are included. Each participant brings one horse, or you can arrange to use one of our schooling horses.

Youth Camps are limited to seven participnants who will have the full attention of Julie and two adult helpers. 

Youth Camp fills up very early each year, so
register early.

 

 

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space. The balance is due two weeks before the camp begins. Trailering is available but call early to schedule with Rich.
