Old
Hooves Home Retirement Facility for Horses
Many horse owners
are faced with the difficult decision of where to find a good
facility for their retired horse. Whether your horse is retired
due to old age, lameness or special medical needs, it is important
to find the right facility.

Miracle Mountain Ranch’s Old Hooves Home is here to
fill those needs. This 160-acre ranch is home to some wonderful
horses who have served their owners well, but for health or
age reasons, needed to retire. MMR's Old Hooves Home provides
an affordable, safe and happy retirement option with all the
comforts a retired horse needs.
Residents are matched with a few other horsey pals in their
own large pastures. Services include twice daily feedings,
grooming, pulling for farrier and health checks and lots of
love. The single monthly fee also covers regular worming,
required annual shots and hoof trims. Special extra services
are available as needed. Just tell us what you need.
Prospective residents (and owners) are invited to come visit
Bob, Buffy, Shady, Digger and other retirees to see how much
they love it at MMR's Old Hooves Home.
Cost and Care
$350 per month includes
feeding twice a day, grooming, blanketing when necessary (owner
provides blanket), cost and administration of de-worming and
annual shots, hoof trims (shoeing is extra) and pulling the
horse for vet and farrier visits.
