Julie has been following her passion and teaching horses and people to communicate for over 20 years. She has studied with some of the top natural trainers in the industry, including:

Julie has learned from each trainer she has worked with, and combined their wisdom with her own ability to read a horse's thoughts, which has resulted in Horsemanship From the Heart. She continues to refine her skills, learn from her peers, and advance new training methods as questions arise. Most important for you, she has the ability to pass those skills on to you, if you are truly interested in a relationship with your horse(s).

Julie's Services

Julie Carpenter offers training, instruction and clinics in Jackson, CA, and in Santa Cruz, CA, or at your location.

•Training for horses is provided from foundation to performance; from colt starting to problem horses. Julie uses communicative and stress-free methods of working naturally with the horse and rider that is mutually rewarding.

•Instruction in all aspects of horse care and riding technique. The student is taught to develop trust, confidence, understanding and communication with horses.

•Apprenticeship program is a specialized program for students to achieve a more in depth knowledge of horsemanship.
